Robert Dorsey
Chief Data and Analytics Officer, FNC Co-Founder

As a co-founder of FNC, Bob Dorsey served as chief operating officer until 2007. He since has shifted focus to lead the data and analytics group, currently as chief data and analytics officer. Prior to founding FNC, Dorsey was a member of the economics faculty at the University of Mississippi.
Dorsey earned his Ph.D. in economics from The University of Arizona as a member of the experimental economics program directed by Nobel Laureate Vernon Smith. He has published more than 30 articles in professional journals and is co-author of the book, Bankruptcy Prediction Using Artificial Neural Networks.
His academic research has focused on experimental economics, and the econometrics of non-linear optimization. Prior to his work in economics he worked in academic administration and as an engineer.

Jan Griffin Farrington

Janet Griffin Farrington has been on the Board of Directors of FNC since 1998. A native of Jackson, Farrington graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1965 with a bachelor of arts degree in secondary education. In 1986, she helped found Medical Support & Development Org., Inc. and has been the executive director of that foundation since its beginning. She now sits on the Board of Directors and Executive Board of Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS, and actively participates in the educational and community outreach of that hospital. In addition, she serves as chair of the Mississippi Technology Alliance.
Devoted to her Alma Mater, she served as the national president of the Ole Miss Alumni Association from 1998 to 1999 and is the chair-elect of the University of Mississippi Foundation Board of Directors. She was a founding member of The Ole Miss Women’s Council for Philanthropy and has served as its president. She has been inducted into the University of Mississippi Alumni Association Hall of Fame.
Farrington is the immediate past president of the National Delta Delta Delta Foundation and has been active as an alumna of that sorority for many years. She is an avid supporter of the American Heart Association. In 1989, she became the first woman to serve as chairman of the Board of the Mississippi Affiliate of the AHA after serving as State Campaign Chairman in 1987-88. She was a member of the AHA’s National Development Committee (1989-90), National Agenda Planning Committee (1994), and Southern Regional Heart Committee (1988-90). She is a past chairman of the Art for Heart, and with her husband, Lawrence, has continued to serve as Art Acquisition Chairman for this charitable fund raiser. She has received both the President’s Award and the Heart of Gold Award from the American Heart Association.
She has three children, three step children, and ten grandchildren.

John Johnson
FNC Co-Founder and Technical Scholar

John D. Johnson is a full professor and head of the Department of Management Information Systems at Utah State University. Prior to becoming department head, Johnson was a co-founder of FNC and served as the company’s chief technology officer. He currently holds the title of Technical Scholar at FNC.
During his tenure at FNC he directed research and development for FNC projects and analyzed techniques and technology for future products. He was instrumental in developing the first financial industry data exchange standard, creating a framework that allows for secure communication of real estate property and valuation data. His work with the Appraisal Institute's Residential Data Standards Committee resulted in the creation of the Appraisal Institutes XML data storage and transmission standards and the AI Ready initiative.
In addition, Johnson and his Ph.D. student Duncan Chen laid out the specifications for the Open Appraisal Document Interface (OADI), an object that facilities industry adoption of the Appraisal institutes data standard. He was a co-founder of a consulting firm that created artificial intelligence solutions to resolve business problems.
Johnson earned his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in 1987. He has published 4 books, 5 book chapters, and more than 20 research articles in professional journals. He served as editor of the Quarterly Journal of Electronic Commerce and Advances in Artificial Intelligence in Economics, Finance, and Management. He is currently an editorial board member of the International Journal of Internet and Enterprise Management (IJIEM).
His academic research has focused on neural networks and electronic commerce.
Johnson and his wife Heather live in Ogden Utah and are the parents of 8 children.

Patrick G. Jones, Esq.

Patrick G. Jones has been on the FNC Board of Directors since September 2000. He currently serves as the Chair of the FNC Audit Committee and is also a member of the FNC Compensation Committee.
Jones is an attorney with Friend, Hudak & Harris, LLP and a mediator and arbitrator with Henning Mediation & Arbitration Service, Inc., both in Atlanta, Georgia. From 1995 to 2003 he was with PTEK Holdings, Inc. (n/k/a Premiere Global Services, Inc.; NYSE: PGI), a publicly-traded global provider of on-demand, applied communication technologies, where he served as chief legal officer for all eight years of his tenure, chief financial officer for four years, and head of Investor Relations for two years.
Before joining PTEK Holdings, Jones spent almost 17 years practicing law in Atlanta as a partner with three major law firms; and prior to going to law school he was a CPA with Price Waterhouse in Atlanta. Jones is a former chair of the Taxation Section of the Atlanta Bar Association and the former editor-in-chief of The Atlanta Lawyer. He was also the co-chair of the Georgia Limited Liability Company Committee, which drafted the Georgia Limited Liability Company Act, and he is a co-author of the Georgia LLC/LLP Handbook.
Pat received his BBA in Accounting from Wake Forest University in 1973, where he played varsity baseball, and his JD from Emory University School of Law in 1979, where he was Executive Notes and Comments Editor of the Emory Law Journal. Pat is also active in his community, serving as the chair of the Board of Directors of The Wellness Community—Atlanta, Inc., a Section 501(c)(3) cancer support organization.
Pat and his wife live in Atlanta and they have four children.

John Koch

John D. Koch has been on the FNC Board of Directors since 2000. He currently serves as director and chair of the compensation committee.
Koch most recently served as CEO of ION Capital, Inc., a multi-state mortgage banking company he co-founded. Prior to that, he was executive vice president of Charter One Bank and director of Charter One Financial, Inc. He also served as chief credit officer of the bank.
Dedicated to community service, Koch currently serves as chairman of the Salvation Army Cleveland Advisory Board, the director of the Cleveland Orchestra, and a trustee for Oberlin College. He is also director of the Residential Board of Governors (RESBOG) of the MBA and has held countless professional leadership positions.
For six years, he was director of America’s Community Bankers and chair of numerous committees including Mortgage Finance, Affordable Housing Task Force, and Government Sponsored Enterprises Task Force. He also held the position of director for the World Savings Bank Institute in Brussels, Belgium for three years; was a faculty member of the Center of Financial Studies in Fairfield, Connecticut for three years; and was a member of Fannie Mae’s national Advisory Board for two years.
Koch earned his B.A. in Chemistry and English from Oberlin College in Ohio and his M.B.A. in 1982 from DePaul University in Chicago.

William Rayburn

Bill Rayburn has served as chairman and CEO since the company’s founding. Initially, he tackled the responsibility of raising funds and establishing the banking relationships necessary to ensure FNC’s success. In recent years, his focus has shifted to leading the company’s organic revenue growth through strategic planning and the introduction of new solutions to the marketplace. Currently, his efforts are aimed at strengthening processes to maintain fantastic client service, as well as growing and developing the talented management team at FNC.
Prior to co-founding FNC, Rayburn co-founded two other successful ventures—a residential real estate development company, and a seminar and training company. He also served full-time on the finance faculty at the University of Mississippi for 12 years where he taught graduate courses in financial institutions and real estate investment analysis. Rayburn worked his way through graduate school selling enterprise telecommunications systems with a major firm.
Active in both local and state-wide communities, Rayburn “gives back” by serving on the Girl Scouts Heart of the South Council board of directors (including serving as chair of the finance committee); the Boy Scouts Yocona Area Council board of directors (including serving as the District Fund-Raising Chair); the board of directors of the Oxford Ballet Association; and the board of directors of the Mississippi Technology Alliance. He is also an active supporter of 4-H in Mississippi.
Rayburn holds a doctorate in finance from the University of Memphis, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and an MAI (inactive). He completed his undergraduate degree in business at the University of Southern Mississippi. An eternal optimist, his favorite phrase is, “Have a Fantastic day!”

Dennis Tosh

As chief administrative officer, Dennis Tosh manages education/training, human resources, investor relations, and charitable giving.
Tosh co-founded FNC while still a professor at The University of Mississippi’s School of Business, where he also co-founded a consulting firm and co-authored a series of real estate industry books and articles, including the Bankers Guide to Real Estate Appraisal Compliance and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, both considered industry standards.
Tosh served as a trustee of the Appraisal Foundation from 1987 to 1992. He earned his doctorate in real estate from Georgia State University.

Chip Bolton joined FNC’s legal department in 2002. As associate general counsel, Bolton handles a wide variety of legal matters including contracts, employment and securities law issues, intellectual property concerns, corporate compliance, insurance, bankruptcy matters, and litigation. Bolton is an active member of The Mississippi Bar and the American Bar Association.
Bolton earned his Juris Doctorate and M.B.A. from the University of Mississippi and his bachelor of science degree in psychology and sociology from Mississippi State University.

Duncan Chen
Chief Technology Officer

Duncan Chen joined FNC in 1998 with an extensive breadth of experience in software development and IT management. Since then, he has served as chief software architect and chief technical officer, making him responsible for FNC’s overall technology strategy and system development.
Under his leadership and direction, FNC successfully delivers its products to many of the top 50 banks, ensuring full integration with the banks’ internal systems.
Prior to joining FNC, Chen was MIS manager for BoardTek Electronics, a leading PCB manufacturer in Taiwan; he also served as special project manager for KC Information Company, an office automation software company. Chen received his PhD in MIS from the University of Mississippi and is also a government certified systems analyst from Taiwan.

Glen Evans

Glen Evans recently joined FNC after serving as senior vice president for FTN Financial. He brings to the company more than 25 years experience in banking and finance. A Grenada, Miss., native, Evans graduated from The University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an emphasis in banking and finance. After college, he joined the Nashville bureau of the OCC, working as a bank regulator during the tumultuous oil patch crash of the mid-1980s—a crisis that mandated stints in Texas and Oklahoma.
In 1985, Evans was hired by First American National Bank subsidiary, Memphis Bank & Trust, in its Capital Markets division, where he worked for five years in fixed income sales and correspondent banking. He subsequently joined FTN, a subsidiary of First Tennessee Bank, in its Correspondent Services division. In this executive position, he gained 19 years of experience and industry knowledge, working directly with a broad spectrum of financial institutions in the commercial banking, mortgage banking, and investment banking markets.
Evans’ primary goal at FNC is to develop a tactical, operating plan to help the growing company reach its revenue goals. Beyond operational responsibilities, Evans manages the varied functional areas of the company.

Before moving to chief operating officer, Grimes directed the Client Services Group at FNC. Having spent more than 20 years in the IT industry, Grimes has served in numerous roles including developer, project manager, business analyst, and IT manager. He also successfully ran his own solutions consulting firm and worked within many enterprise corporations such as International Paper, Federal Express, and others. Along with a master’s degree in education from Delta State University, Grimes has earned several industry certifications and has also completed focused CIS course work at California State University Stanislaus in Turlock, CA.

Lois Lovelady
Director, Sales and Strategic Initiatives

Lois Lovelady is responsible for expanding FNC’s Collateral Management System® (CMS®) and Collateral DNA™ services to lenders, servicers, capital markets, insurance firms, and appraisal management companies.
Prior to joining FNC, Lovelady trained and managed a sales force for a national check verification company. She spent part of her career as a financial adviser for Shearson Lehman and Oppenheimer.
Lovelady holds a BBA in marketing from The University of Mississippi. In addition to Series 7 and Series 63 securities designations, she has obtained real estate licenses in Mississippi and New York.

Mike Mitchell

As Chief Strategy Officer, Mike Mitchell has been actively involved in the growth of FNC since joining the company in 1998. With a background in building technology businesses, Mitchell works to define and bring to market innovative solutions for FNC’s clients and the mortgage technology industry at large.
In addition to helping drive corporate strategy within FNC, Mitchell actively serves the mortgage technology industry through his work with the Appraisal Institute, American Land Title Association, and MISMO standard committees.
Prior to joining FNC, Mitchell managed the product marketing and launch of the both Skytel 2-Way Pager and Monorail PC. Mitchell received a B.A. in economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. in finance and entrepreneurial management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

In her business planning role, Sage Nichols is responsible for leading analysis and activities that drive towards maximizing FNC’s financial and strategic growth. This includes external projects with clients, such as client assessments, as well as internal projects, such as overseeing strategic initiatives.
Sage joined FNC in 2002 as an analyst in the strategic alliances group and spent several years on the account management team prior to her current role.
Sage earned her B.B.A. in accounting from Millsaps College in 2002.

Neil Olson

The former president and CEO of the California Market Data Cooperative (CMDC), Neil Olson joined FNC in 2000 when the company acquired CMDC. Olson now provides legal support to FNC and its employees.
Prior to CMDC, Olson served as a senior officer at two southern California savings and loans and practiced real estate and financial institution litigation law. Olson earned his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law. He is also a graduate of Pomona College in Claremont, California.

As chief financial officer, Wylie Richards supervises all of FNC’s financial activity. He manages the financing and accounting systems while creating and maintaining investor relationships.
Prior to joining FNC, Richards served as an audit partner with Touche Ross and Co. and later with Deloitte and Touche. He was also a managing partner with Richards Sims and Iupe, PLLC. Richards is a licensed and certified public accountant and is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He earned his B.B.A. in accounting from The University of Mississippi.

Rhonda L. Burchett

Rhonda L. Burchett joined FNC in Jan 2006, bringing more than 15 years of corporate accounting and banking experience to the company. She currently serves as Controller, managing the day-to-day functions of the accounting/internal systems department which includes AR, AP, Payroll, Debt/Leases, Billing Systems, and TimeKeeping Systems. She is also responsible for the preparation and review of corporate/departmental financial statements and budget preparations.
Prior to joining FNC, Burchett worked as the senior compliance and internal audit officer with Hawthorn Bank/Exchange National Bancshares. She also worked as senior internal auditor for Mechanics Bank, and business manager for Butler County Publishing Co., Inc.
Burchett earned her bachelor of business administration from the University of Mississippi, and completed both the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado University of Colorado and the Mississippi School of Banking at the University of Mississippi. She is also a Certified Bank Internal Auditor (ICBA) and serves as an active community volunteer.

Bill Caldwell has served as director of human resources for FNC since August 2004. Prior to joining FNC, Caldwell
was employed by Baptist Memorial Healthcare Corporation for over 18 years where he served as assistant administrator at
BMH-North MS, corporate director of human resources for BMHCC, and CEO/Administrator of BMH-Desoto. He was also employed
by Methodist Healthcare Corporation in Memphis, Tenn. and Abbott Laboratories of North Chicago, Ill.
Caldwell received his bachelor’s degree in healthcare management from the University of Mississippi in 1973.
He has been a Fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives. He has served as President of the Mississippi
Hospital Association Society for Human Resources and a member of the board of directors of the Mississippi Hospital Association.

Kathy Coon
SRA - Chief Appraiser & Director of Appraisal Quality Control

As the chief appraiser and director of GAAR® at FNC, Kathy Coon consults lenders in the detection of faulty or fraudulent appraisals. She also has conducted appraisal training to underwriters, government agencies, and law enforcement; and she assisted the FBI in one of the largest flipping scams in the country.
At FNC, Coon served as the subject matter expert and lead in the creation of FNC’s Generally Accepted Appraisal Rules™ (GAAR) which provide an automated review of appraisals for both compliance and risk issues.
A national instructor for the Appraisal Institute, Coon has served on its board of directors and executive committee as Chair of Education and was twice elected chair of the Residential Appraisal Board. Coon is also member of the Mortgage Banker Association’s Fraud and Ethics subcommittee and served on MBA’s Appraisal Fraud Task Force.
A widely-respected speaker, Coon is the developer of the Appraisal Institute’s seminar, Quality Assurance in Residential Appraisals: Risky Appraisals = Risky Loans. She holds a degree in business and criminal justice and is qualified as an expert witness.

Jane Vorhies

As Director of Client Services at FNC, Jane Vorhies oversees a team of 35 business analysts and project managers. Before joining FNC in 2003, Vorhies worked as a systems analyst at Kimberly-Clark (a Fortune 100 company) and supervised IT operations at two public universities.
She has applied her exceptional organizational skills and more than 15 years of IT experience to a broad range of projects within FNC’s Client Services Group, including strategic guidance; project monitoring; and relationship building.
Vorhies previously led FNC’s CSG technical operations; managed its core software product, Collateral Management System™; and directed the company’s quality assurance department. She is a graduate of The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and Western Illinois University.

Jon T. Fisher
Director, FNC Consulting

Jon T. Fisher joined FNC in June of 2000 and has been involved in the deployment and support of FNC solutions as a project
manager and director of the Client Services Group. Jon was FNC Client Services Group director for eight years and implemented
the Home Valuation Code of Conduct (“HVCC”) principles and requirements into FNC’s platforms. In July of 2010, Jon joined forces
with Lance Thoet to form FNC Consulting. Prior to joining FNC Jon worked with Oracle Consulting and the consulting division
of Arthur Andersen (known today as Accenture) providing management information consulting services to corporate clients in
the Financial Service, Real Estate and Oil and Gas industries. Jon has also spent over a decade in the real estate industry
focusing on distressed real estate asset sales and work outs, brokerage and home building.

Gwendolyn Knight

As manager of Customer Support, Gwendolyn Knight provides one-on-one customer service talents when assisting FNC clients with technical support using the Ports, CMS, Data, and CHQ products. She solves billing inquires, troubleshoots appraiser-presented software challenges, maintains working relationships with FNC bank contacts, completes online new client AppraisalPort registrations, rectifies credit card chargebacks and/or disputes, and mentors new employees.
Knight graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and Management.

Kimberly Taylor
Director, Support Operations

Kimberly Taylor joined FNC in 2001. She now heads Support Operations, a comprehensive, tiered help desk system that is responsible for customer support for all FNC systems. In that role, Taylor provides customer service, supervises the Support Operations staff, assists with product demonstrations for potential and current clients, and implements training programs for Support staff to continuously enhance the Support experience for FNC customers.
Taylor earned both a B.B. A. in Management Information Systems and an M.B.A. from the University of Mississippi.

Steve Costello
Product Manager, AppraisalPort®

Based in Costa Mesa, Calif., Steve Costello is the product manager of AppraisalPort and is also responsible for many aspects of FNC's data business, including direct contact with lenders and appraisers. While Costello focuses mainly on appraisal data acquisition and product sales, he also manages the FNC comparable sales publications for the California market and assists with the continuing development of FNC's Data Express product based on information gathered from the appraisal community.
Costello joined the California Market Data Cooperative (CMDC), (which was subsequently acquired by FNC), as a Regional Manager in 1986. He earned a bachelor’s degree in geography from California State University, Fullerton.

Christian Leask
Product Manager, CMS®

Christian Leask re-joins FNC as a product manager. As such, he will directly assist the product management and development teams with their larger initiatives, including current and future Collateral Management System® (CMS®) technology.
Christian spent the last several years seeing the world in different capacities: working with Microsoft Consulting in Atlanta, GA; on staff at a small, but aggressive payments provider software firm based in Washington, DC; and in Madrid, Spain, where he helped develop the technological backbone of an intensive language school.
Previously, Christian was one of FNC’s original employees as the company began to expand from its incubator status in 1999. Then, he helped develop the first version of AppraisalPort® and managed its first several versions. Christian also was instrumental in developing OptisValue, one of FNC’s first Web-based CMS platforms.

Karen Mogridge

Karen Mogridge joined FNC in 2001 as a systems analyst. Since that time, she has consistently exhibited stellar leadership skills and innovative ideas which have enabled her to move into her current role as Collateral DNA product manager. Presiding over FNC’s robust data and analytic suite, Mogridge is able to combine her broad expertise in systems analysis and engineering, quality assurance, and team management.
Prior to FNC, Mogridge worked for Lockheed Martin Aeronautical and Equifax E-Banking Solutions. She earned her bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Valdosta State University.

Diana Richardson

As product manager of FNC’s Collateral Management System®, Diana Richardson provides expert guidance and direction for the company’s flagship platform. Diana is a 12-year veteran of FNC, joining the company’s Quality Assurance department in 2000. Since then, she has worked in various roles, including Business Analyst, Analyst Team Lead, CollateralDNA™ product manager, and Sales Engineer. Diana’s broad expertise of FNC’s systems, and her skill at gauging both industry needs and client requests, have made her a key contributor to numerous client installations.

Shawn Telford

Shawn Telford joined FNC in 2007 after spending more than a decade in the appraisal and technology industry. Prior to FNC, Telford gained substantial experience in both leadership and business management serving not only as a college level educator and a private consultant, but also as a senior executive for American Reporting Company and as a senior manager for Washington Mutual Bank. Telford now leads the CMS product development team with a proven record of success in managing business operations, technology projects, technology systems, and business growth plans.
Telford earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Utah Valley University and his master’s in computer information systems from the University of Phoenix. He is currently studying to complete his M.B.A. at the University of Mississippi. Telford is currently licensed as a Certified Real Estate Appraiser.
