Description: The government-sponsored enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac recently conducted an extensive analysis to
determine the drivers of increased repurchase requests to lenders and implemented, among other programs, the Uniform Mortgage Data Program
(UMDP). As part of the UMDP, the GSEs established a Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP) and a Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) to
capture critical appraisal data and validate it before loan delivery.
Who Should Attend: Mortgage originators who sell loans to the GSEs or to a correspondent lender who sells to the GSEs.
Also AMCs, Chief Appraisers and anyone else involved in the appraisal procurement process or delivery of loans to the GSEs.
Subject Matter:
- Key changes to GSEs’ eligibility, underwriting, and loan delivery policies regarding appraisals under the initiative
- What you can do now to leverage technology, making compliance with these new regulations a non-issue.
- How your processes may be affected, including the need to gather appraisal data in an appropriate format for delivery to the UCDP
- Why automating this process can save you valuable time and money
